1. You call
Call (916) 584-9619. We ask for the address, where the bin will sit, the type and amount of debris, the dates, and whether the job has a building permit or HOA rules. It usually takes a few minutes.
2. We line up a provider
We check which independent local providers serve your address and are allowed to haul there, then connect you with one. The provider confirms the size, the price and the delivery window directly with you. Gold State is a referral service; the provider owns the equipment and does the work.
3. Permits and preparation
If the bin will sit on a street or sidewalk, the city usually requires a permit. Confirm who applies. Clear the drop spot, move vehicles, and make sure there is room for the truck and clearance overhead. Tell neighbors if the bin will narrow a shared space.
4. Delivery
The truck tilts its bed and slides the container onto the drop spot. Ask for boards under the rails if you want to protect the driveway. Same-day delivery is often possible when you call early; ask when you call.
5. Loading
Load heavy items first and spread the weight evenly. Keep restricted items out: paint, chemicals, batteries, electronics and anything that may contain asbestos. Keep concrete and green waste separate if you have them. Fill to the top edge and stop. Cover the bin when you aren't loading.
6. Pickup and paperwork
Call the provider when you're done, or when the bin is full and you need a swap. The truck winches the container back on and takes it to a facility. If your project has a building permit, ask for the weight tickets or diversion report. Your building department may want them before final inspection.
